At OTN, we use the same cutting-edge tools and technologies used by professionals in the field, helping to prepare the students who work here for life after college.

With six studio spaces, three control rooms and a production office featuring the latest editing software, students who work for OTN are able to create high-quality shows, movies and commercials.

Dick Clark Studios, named for the legendary entertainer and alumnus, are Hollywood-style, high-tech production facilities located on the first and second floors of Newhouse 2. Spot the distinct orange wall, and you’ll know you’re in the right place.

Professionals with decades of experience in screenwriting, production and editing are always available to help students use the professional-quality cameras and equipment available in the studios.

Audio arts students and professors help with OTN productions by mixing professional audio tracks for live and recorded productions.

Production Control Room 1 is the largest of the three fully equipped control rooms. OTN shows like Live from Studio B and Loud and Clear use PCR1 to live-edit their multicamera productions. Photos by ’22 alum TJ Shaw.
